Privacy Policy

This policy plainly describes how PetPal actually works today. It is pending review by qualified counsel and may be refined; the practices below are accurate either way.
What we collect
Account information (email, name, phone if you add it), the pet-care data you enter (pets, records, medications, routines, appointments, expenses, contacts), files you upload, questions you ask PetPal AI, and product usage events (e.g. "routine created"). Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
How we use it
To run PetPal for your household: reminders, timelines, care cards, visit briefs, and AI answers grounded in your own records. Usage analytics are used in aggregate to improve the product. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your pet's medical records for advertising.
Who can access it
Members of your household according to their role; people you share expiring care-card or emergency links with (only the card's contents); and our infrastructure providers (Supabase for database/storage, Vercel for hosting, Anthropic for AI processing of the content you submit to AI features, Stripe for billing) — each processing data solely to provide their service.
Your controls
Export all of your data as JSON from Settings at any time. Revoke share links whenever you choose. Remove household members instantly. Request account deletion at info@techrunnersva.com — honored within 30 days.
Security
Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, database-enforced household isolation, private document storage with signed access, and server-side secrets. Details in our Trust Center.
