Plain-English terms describing how PetPal actually operates, pending review by qualified counsel.
The service
PetPal organizes pet-care information for your household: records, medications, routines, appointments, expenses, sharing, and AI assistance grounded in your own data. You keep ownership of everything you add.
Not veterinary care — ever
PetPal is not a veterinary provider. Nothing in the product — including PetPal AI — is a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, or substitute for professional judgment. For health concerns, contact a licensed veterinarian; for emergencies, contact an emergency animal hospital immediately. You remain responsible for care decisions.
Your responsibilities
Keep your account credentials safe, only invite people you trust with the role you give them, verify AI-extracted document data before relying on it, and use share links knowing anyone with the link can view that card until it expires or you revoke it.
Plans & billing
The free plan is free for one pet, indefinitely. Paid plans bill monthly through Stripe, can be canceled anytime from Settings (effective at period end), and downgrade you to the free plan with your data intact. Fair-use limits (documents, AI requests) protect the service for everyone.
Acceptable use
No attempting to access other households' data, probing security boundaries, abusing share links, or using the service unlawfully. We may suspend accounts that endanger other users' data.
Liability
PetPal is provided "as is" during early access. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tech Runners LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before a claim.
